Crisis Psychiatric Response Services (CPRS)

The CPRS team provides mobile emergency response services, mental health services, crisis intervention/de-escalation, wellness planning, assisting with the evaluation of California Welfare and Institutions Code Section 5150, securing psychiatric placement and/or safety planning, client-centered and team-based interventions, and service coordination to adults, children, and youth within Madera County who are receiving services from Madera County Jail or Madera County Juvenile Hall who are deemed appropriate for an assessment for involuntary psychiatric treatment pursuant to California Welfare and Institutions Code Section 5150. The team also provides mobile community response for Family Urgent Response System (FURS) after-hours coverage on behalf of Madera County. This includes coordinating with Madera County's Department of Social Services and co-responding as requested.

CPRS operates from 4:00 pm to 8:30 am on Monday through Friday and 24 hours on weekends and county-declared holidays.
