Richmond Health & Wellness Center**

WestCare California, Inc.’s Richmond Health and Wellness Center is a 25 bed facility that serves Contra Costa County and provides co-occurring drug and/or alcohol addiction treatment services for 15 males (Age 18 and above) in a safe and supportive environment that is grounded in the fundamental belief that services need to be person-centered and focused on wellness and recovery. Additionally, 10 beds are reserved for clinically-managed detoxification services, with an opportunity for transitioning into the appropriate level of care after completion. This 24/7 program is designed to meet the person where they are in their stage of recovery with an emphasis on understanding the unique mental, emotional, and social factors that influence their drug and/or alcohol use. Residential treatment offers men an environment where they focus on their recovery without the distractions of everyday life.

Scope & Services

Services include residential substance abuse treatment for up to 90 days and detoxification services between 1 to 14 days, as needed. Consumers have access to co-occurring groups, in-house recreational activities, and individual sessions with a Licensed Practitioner of Healing Arts (LPHA) and counselors, as needed. Other services include transportation, case management, educational/social/housing/vocational services, direct referrals to mental health and physical health care services provided by Contra Costa County, and linkage to aftercare, as needed.
