WestCare California, Inc.’s Home Sweet Home rapid rehousing program helps individuals and families exit homelessness and return to permanent housing as quickly as possible. The target populations are individuals or families that are experiencing homelessness in the Fresno Madera Continuum of Care’s (FMCoC) geographic region. Home Sweet Home also prioritizes working with youth ages 18 – 24 that have entered the program including families with a head of household who is between the ages of 18 – 24.

Scope & Services
Our Home Sweet Home program utilizes 24 units of site-based rental assistance and provides services including temporary medium-term financial assistance (3 - 18 months) combined with locating housing. An on-site case manager is available to help individuals served to obtain permanent housing and long-term stability.
Funding
Home Sweet Home is funded by the County of Fresno’s Department of Social Services through funds from the State of CA by way of the Homeless Emergency Aid Program (HEAP) and California Emergency Solutions and Housing (CESH).
