WestCare California, Inc.’s FCRP program is a 45-day to two (2)-year program for high-risk, women offenders. The program has a focus on gender-responsive, trauma-informed services that assist women with reentry back into their communities. The program helps up to 112 women re-enter society with the skills necessary to succeed. This program targets women who are serving the last two years of their sentence. It provides a place for them in the community rather than in an institution.

Scope & Services
Female Community Reentry Program (FCRP) helps women leave a correctional facility to and re-enter society successfully. FCRP addresses SUDs, criminal thinking, grief and loss, and/or family reunification. WestCare develops educational and vocational skills, linking women to healthcare services and educational institutions. Women begin work on family reunification and payment of restitution. They resolve child support issues and begin community living.
- Provides services to up to 112 female offenders who have a minimum of 45 days and a maximum of 2 years left on their sentence to assist with re-entry back into their community rather than in an institution

At WestCare California, Female Community Reentry Program (FCRP) in San Diego, we are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all participants, staff, and visitors.
In accordance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) standards, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and misconduct. All reports are taken seriously and addressed promptly.
All reports of sexual abuse or sexual harassment (Prison Rape Elimination Act - PREA) involving a participant should be reported through CDCR. Information on third party reporting through CDCR is available at the below link.
